The Tel Aviv Foundation remembers Mr. Hanan Ben-Yehuda Z"L

Mayor Ron Huldai and the Tel Aviv Foundation (TAF) staff and family mourn the loss of one of its former beloved leaders, Hanan Ben-Yehuda Z"L.

In 1982, Ben-Yehuda became the Director General of the Tel Aviv Foundation and together with Mayor (Chic) Lahat, traveled all over the world to secure private support for important projects in Tel Aviv.  During his tenure, the Tel Aviv Foundation was able to establish many important projects in the city.

Following his service at TAF, Ben Yehuda served in many important roles to help promote and develop the State of Israel. Some of the roles included chairman of the board of the Old Jaffa Development Company, coordinator of the Economy Forum for the Recuperation of the Israeli Economy and treasurer of the Jewish Agency.

Ben-Yehuda sat on various public boards, including the board of the Israeli opera, the Bat-Sheva Dance Company and the Gesher Theater Company to name a few.

Hanan's leadership and friendship will be missed but his contributions to Tel Aviv will live on for all time.
