About the Tel Aviv Foundation

Since 1977, the Tel Aviv Foundation has
catalyzed donors to be strategic
partners in supporting the evolving needs of the Tel Aviv community. The
Foundation generates momentum to the city as the beacon of progress by
elevating the quality of life through: education, culture and arts,
sports, the
environment and social services.
The Foundation works in partnership with the Municipality of Tel
Aviv-Jaffa,
which provides matching funds for nearly every project. The priority
projects
are set by Mayor Ron Huldai (the Foundation's International Chairman)
and the
City Council.
Responsible and purposeful, the Foundation provides for the needy and
creates
opportunities for a better future for Tel Aviv and all of Israel.
The Tel Aviv Foundation is a registered nonprofit organization under the
IRS
code 501(c) 3, ID #13-3145161 and is a rated 4-star charity for three
consecutive years by Charity Navigator - the nation's leading charity
evaluator.
