This Friday is the second class of Buddha's Basics. We are starting by grounding ourselves well in Buddha's life, the culture of his time, and how Buddhism developed and grew over time.  

 

 

This week we will watch part two of PBS's excellent documentary, The Buddha. (If you missed it, you can catch it on Netflix.) There are a number of good resources at the PBS website here, including a transcription of the entire film as well as a timeline of Buddha's life. 

 

Now we have two tracks on Friday nights:

• Wake Up to Your Life on the first and third Fridays.
• Buddha's Basics on the second and fourth Fridays.

You are welcome to attend one or both tracks.
