Save the Date for May Retreat May 21-22My dear dharma friend Greg Bender has agreed to come visit us in May for a teaching on the nature of mind. Greg has been a practitioner for over 30 years and has been encouraged to teach Mahamudra. Exact details are to be determined, but it will probably be a teaching at our usual time on Friday night, plus Saturday morning and afternoon. Stay tuned!

Buddha's Birthday Celebration
First Unitarian Universalist Church · 1808 Woodmont Blvd. · Nashville Sunday, May 2, 8:50 and 10:50 a.m.
Living Buddha The Rev. Gail Seavey, Cathy Chang, and Rita Frizzell will be leading a three-part investigation of bodhichitta and bodhisattvas. We celebrate the Buddha's birthday by examining Bodhisattvas - living Buddhas - enlightened beings who choose to remain in the "samsara" world to help others. What do Bodhisattvas teach us about living our values in our everyday lives?
