Workshop Series: Infant Massage to Strengthen Bonds
Sundays September 13th Through October 4th 2:00-3:30pm |

Greetings!
If you are new parents or expecting parents, this is a workshop series you don't want to miss! Infant massage is one of the healing treatures of ancient Eastern culture. Caregivers have been utilizing these exquisite strokes as part of their daily childcare activities. In parts of India and Africa these techniques have been handed down from one generation to the next.
Today, we recognize that infant massage is proven to: strengthen brain connections for the developing child, stimulate circulatory and respiratory systems, as well as, relieve their gas, constipation, congestion and water retention. In the caregiver, it increases oxytocin and decreases their cortisol levels all while creating and strengthening a secure attachment with the child. The most exciting part is that all of these healing components are facilitated by you, the parent!
Strengthen the parent-child bond and experience the benefits of this powerful healing modality by learning the strokes for your infant. We will be holding classes on Sundays September 13th-October 4th 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Class includes a 1 oz bottle of infant massage oil, parent topic discussion, and instructions on specialized strokes. Please bring: your 0-7 month old infant or a teddy bear or doll, a towel and/or baby blanket and a desire to have fun and learn!
