Thousands of fundraising events are held annually at golf facilities across the nation.  Golf is responsible for raising approximately $3.5 billion dollars annually for charitable causes. This is more than any of the other spectator sports combined!  Many different groups are getting involved with golf as a way to raise money: corporations looking to give back, schools, churches and non-profit organizations.  If planned carefully, a golf tournament can be a great way to raise money for your cause and provide a memorable event for your attendees.  

The value a tournament offers in the mind of a golfer is directly tied to the enjoyment they find in the event. Value is a combination of the right course, the right price, entertainment, and of course the branded gifts!  My goal with this month's newsletter is to help simplify the process of planning a tournament and to suggest a few promotional products that can be imprinted with the tournament event and/or a sponsor's logo.
