New! Emergency Notification
Via Phone, E-Mail, Text Message
Snow closures, early dismissals, changes in bus schedules, area emergencies ... These are items you want to hear about first. This year, our district is utilizing School Messenger to get the word out quickly and efficiently. This system can call the homes of all 4,200 students within 14 minutes!
However, we can only reach you if we have the right information. Please make sure that you current phone numbers and e-mail addresses are on file with your school office. If you'd like to receive messages by text on your cell phone, you must subscribe from your cell phone.
To do that, simply text the word SUBSCRIBE to 68453. That's it. You can subscribe from as many cell phones as you would like to receive emergency notices from the schools (spouse, babysitter, grandparents, etc.)

Springville Cultivates New Curriculum
A grant from the New Jersey Agricultural Society will allow students at the Springville Elementary School to learn first-hand where their food comes from this year. The school is a recipient of a "Learning Through Gardening Grant" that will supply raised bed materials, tools, hoses, seeds and growing medium for an outdoor garden. Staff members will be supplied with lesson plans and guidance from agricultural experts in growing seasonal vegetables that will be shared in the school cafeteria.
