| FROM THE HELM | As you may recall, the Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club rolled out a sponsorship program last year.
The program is the culmination of several years of thought, and is designed to help this club meet financial objectives, and to give sponsors exposure within the antique and classic boat niche.
Our Sponsors understand our mission and support our efforts to provide member benefits in a timely manner. In the process we will all learn more about them.
We are pleased to announce that Chris-Craft Corporation has returned this year as a Sponsor.
We are ecstatic to have Chris-Craft back on board with us, not only in The Brass Bell, but soon to be online as well. Chris-Craft President, Steve Heese has always been a fan of what we are doing, and he is showing his support via the sponsorship.

We have also been notified that
Hagerty Marine Insurance has returned as a Sponsor of the Club again this year. Hagerty has been a "friend of the hobby" for many years, and we are all grateful for their support.

Greetings!
The Mariners' Museum has announced an exciting addition to their Web Presence that Chris-Craft owners and enthusiasts will love. The Mariners' Museum Image Collection Website www.images.marinersmuseum.org has an image Gallery that includes Photos, Plans & Drawings and Brochures & Catalogs from their vast Chris-Craft Collection. There are provisions on-line to order copies of any of the images presented in the Gallery along with many size and texture options.
As you may be aware, we also have a very large On-Line Archive that includes photos, drawings, historic documents and marketing literature, as well as old Brass Bell quarterly publications. Members of the Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club may access hi-res PDF files of over 60,000 pages that may be downloaded and/or printed. However, the Club does not offer a means to order quality copies of them on-line. Nor does the Club Archive include the enormous collection of original photos and plans & drawings. Most of these are available exclusively from The Mariners' Museum - Chris-Craft Collection. Now many of them may be viewed in their Image Collection and ordered on-line.
The Mariners' Museum - Image Gallery - Chris-Craft Collection is a tremendous break-through and represents the future for many other significant parts of the Collection to be accessible on-line, such as the Hull Cards and other Chris-Craft documents that exist only at The Mariners' Museum Library.
We have and will continue to encourage you to join The Mariners' Museum and receive a discount when you order a Research Package for your Antique or Classic Chris-Craft. Will our own Club Archive be obsolete due to the development of the Chris-Craft Image Gallery at The Mariners' Museum? Not at all! The two formats will indeed supplement each other. Our Archive is the result of thousands of hours of time and over $85,000.00 of Grants and Gifts and it will continue to grow as time and funds allow. It will continue to benefit our members in the future, as it has in the past.
We encourage you to visit the new Website and patronize The Mariners' Museum.

Technology Update
Our on-line service was relocated last week.
Your Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club needed to relocate our on-line assets to a new server in order to continue our presence on the Web.
This transfer went very smoothly, thanks to Bill Basler, and members John Stolte and Matt Bryne. John & Matt serve the Club as our IT experts and will continue to keep our on-line assets going and healthy as we move on to a new phase in our Club history.
We are continually challenged with technical glitches as we move forward but these two guys have the knowledge and expertise to keep things working for all of us.
Join us in a huge Thank You to John and Matt, and to Bill Basler for keeping the down-time last weekend to an absolute minimum.

About the Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club
The Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club was formed to be of assistance to our members throughout the world. Most of our members own Chris-Crafts, but that is not a prerequisite to membership. We welcome anyone with an interest in classic and antique Chris-Crafts or classic boats in general. The Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club is dedicated to research, documentation, and preservation of all classic Chris-Craft boats. As the longest-standing marque club in the world, our purpose is to exchange information, build camaraderie among members, and provide education about classic Chris-Crafts.The Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) organization, which authorizes our club to extend tax-exemption credit to persons making contributions or gifts-in the same manner as other educational institutions, churches and charities. We are happy to accept catalogs, archival information and/or monetary donations. The club would also consider gifts and contributions of boats and larger items depending upon their location and their potential for club projects. JOIN TODAY!
