Hello Freehold Community,

Spring is in the air and we're excited to share the news about our great spring class offerings, report on some interesting upcoming work and say a fond farewell to one of our alum Faculty Members.

Here are our e-newsletter highlights:

Jose Gonzales shares his insights about performing scenes of KING LEAR in prison as part of an exploration/workshop of the play in preparation of our Engaged Theatre tour of KING LEAR this summer.

Meg McLynn, a Freehold Faculty Member, shares her excitement about what she's learned teaching her Step I: Intro to Acting students.

Noelle Mestress, a Step II student, shares the second of her blog posts about what she is learning in her Freehold winter acting class.

Daniel Morris shares his memories about a highly beloved Freehold Faculty Member, Jessica Marlowe-Goldstein, who recently passed away after a struggle with a long illness.  Our thoughts go out to Jessica's family and friends.

We wish you all a rejuvenating and joyful spring.

Jessica Marlowe-Goldstein
Jessica Marlowe-Goldstein, a treasured Freehold Faculty Member alum, passed away February 7th after a long fight with cancer.  Here is a remembrance from Daniel Morris.

Jessica and I were neighbors with apartments across the hall from each other at the Essery on Capitol Hill. Jessica and I were friends.
