TEACHERS OF STATE FINALISTS
Registration materials for the state event are due at the Wisconsin Historical Society on
Monday, April 19. Please note that
this is a received by deadline,
not a postmark deadline. You can check online to see if we have received your
materials: http://www.wisconsinhistory.org/teachers/historyday/state_confirmation.asp.
Paper entries and website materials
are also due at this time. Website students must also be finished with any
website revisions by the end of Monday, April 19. No further edits will be
permitted in the NHD Website Editor after the registration deadline passes. Please be sure to have state finalists read through their packet of registration information. State finalists should pay attention to required materials for the competition (process papers, annotated bibliographies) and double-check for other rule compliance issues (word count, time limit, etc.). Just like at regional competitions, judges at the state will be instructed to pay special attention to this issue.

Watch documentary and performance presentations as they take place. View paper and website entries on display in the Wisconsin Historical Society Headquarters building. Check out the exhibits during public viewing in the exhibit hall.
Visitors can find a general event schedule and other information on our website.

FEEDBACK ON THE WEBSITE CATEGORY?
National History Day is looking for your feedback on the website category and NHD Website Editor.
- What were your students' experiences with the new software program? Did it meet their needs? Were any of their ideas limited by the software?
- Did you see an increase in the number of entries at your school in the website category? If so, how did the popularity of this category compare to other categories?
- Any other feedback on the category in general?
Please feel free to send a message to the state coordinator, Sarah Clement, who will compile responses to send to the national office.
