NHD IN WI REACHES 9,000 STUDENTS The official statistics are finally in! The National History Day program in Wisconsin grew again this year to reach 9,000 students at 115 schools across the state. This is an increase of 1,200 students from last year. This wouldn't have been possible without the enthusiasm of our regional coordinators and the dedication of the 245 History Day teachers in the state. We are grateful for your support and are excited to work with all of you each year! |

We hope to see many new and familiar faces! |

NHD 2010: INNOVATION IN HISTORY During the 2009-2010 school year, National History Day invites students to research topics related to the theme: Innovation in History: Impact and Change. If you had already looked ahead at future themes, you'll notice that this is a different wording for the theme. The national NHD office has modified the theme slightly in an effort to make it more accessible to students and to force the issue of immediate impact and long term change because of the innovation. You can read the 2010 theme sheet on our website.
