2012 Environmental Employers of the Year Awards



Celebrating Environmental Leadership and Human Resource Excellence

ECO Canada held the fourth annual EP Event in Vancouver on March 13, 2012 - a kick-off event to GLOBE 2012. Environmental professionals from all across Canada gathered to hear special guest Mike Harcourt address environmental leadership and recognize the top 2012 Environmental Employers of the Year for achievements in human resources.

In an inspiring keynote, Mike Harcourt shared his belief that environmental leadership encompasses a commitment to conservation and sustainable development. The audience learned about Mike's resolve for empowering people and innovative and collaborative practises. As a recognized environmental leader - locally, nationally and abroad - Mike commented on career highlights, such as the preservation of the Tatshenshini River and Alaska's Glacier Bay National Park in Northwest British Columbia, and provided perspective to audience questions on the environmental challenges of the Northern Gateway Pipeline.
 
ECO Canada President and CEO, Grant Trump, and Chairman of the ECO Canada Board, Faramarz Bogzaran, recognized Canada's top 2012 Environmental Employers of the Year. The award recipients demonstrated innovation in human resources and exemplary employee engagement.
