Food Sol at Babson
On Tuesday, October 16th, Babson Entrepreneur-in-Residence Andrew Zimmern (host of Bizarre Foods and Bizarre Foods America) will join the weekly Food Sol Community Table via Skype to lead a conversation around the changing faces of hunger in America. This special edition of Community Table will run from 11:30-1:00 pm EST and Andrew will be on campus the following week for Babson Food Days.

Alumni Escape to Alcatraz

Escape to the Extraordinary with Babson in San Francisco in March 2013! For the second year in a row, Babson will be sponsoring the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon and Babson Corporate. Babson alumni and student entrepreneurs are invited to the 13th annual Rocket Pitch on Thursday, October 25! Each entrepreneur is allowed three minutes and three PowerPoint slides to quickly and succinctly deliver the critical differentiating elements of their ideas. The 2nd Annual Babson Asia Entrepreneurship Forum will take place on October 26. The event is dedicated to providing opportunities of understanding, discussing, and being involved in growing businesses in Asia and by Asian entrepreneurial business people. The 11th annual Babson Entrepreneurship Forum will take place on November 9. This flagship event highlights Babson's reputation of global leadership in Entrepreneurship through panel sessions, business competitions and various guest speakers.

On October 17, 2012, the Stephen D. Cutler Center for Investments and Finance, the Babson Investment Management Association, and the Babson Venture Capital Private Equity Club are proud to present: Raising Capital in the New Normal. This panel is comprised of a serial entrepreneur, merchant banker and a venture capitalists. The moderator is a noted expert in the area of entrepreneurial finance.
