Save the Date for Food Day - October 23 & 24
As Food Sol nears the end of its first year, we wanted to share this story from a recent issue of Seedstock. Food Sol's guiding vision is to build Babson's resources and reputation globally for food entrepreneurship of all kinds.
As you may know, Food Sol got its start through a generous gift from serial (now food) entrepreneur Michael Bronner (Unreal).  Michael recently announced a recommitment to Food Sol for Year 2, demonstrating his confidence in what we are setting in motion here at Babson. We recently welcomed celebrity chef, global food trotter, and TV personality Andrew Zimmern (Bizarre Foods) as Babson's newest Entrepreneur in Residence. Please save the dates of October 23 and 24th at Babson as Andrew joins us at Babson as part of a nationwide celebration of Food Day.

BabsonConnect San Francisco
The second BabsonConnect in San Francisco was held on April 26. Eighty-five current and prospective students, alumni, and friends of the college participated in a highly interactive career networking event featuring 12 Bay area companies including General Electric, Trade Show Internet, Kaiser Permanente, Inflection, Hewlett-Packard, U.S. Bank, and Honeywell. The networking event was followed by a panel of alumni executives from Genentech, Wells Fargo, Digital Mountain, and SAP who discussed entrepreneurship of all kinds. Several students from the Wellesley and San Francisco campuses closed the event by sharing their impressions after visiting Facebook's new corporate headquarters in Menlo Park. Thanks to everyone who attended and made the event a great success!

BABSON CARTOON

A cartoonist and a business school are an unlikely pair but Babson isn't a traditional business school and Hugh Macleod of Gapingvoid, our official cartoonist, isn't your typical artist. In partnership, Gapingvoid and Babson are helping entrepreneurs lead organizations, by better communicating stories through cartoons that can inspire and align. The cartoons make statements, spark conversations, and inspire action. They help us communicate our belief in the power of entrepreneurship in organizations of all shapes and sizes and our strategy to lead the advancement of Entrepreneurship of All KindsŪ to make a better world.
