FEATURED NEWS ITEM
Commencement 2012
Commencement ceremonies took place at the Wellesley campus on Saturday, May 19. Both ceremonies honored Reid Hoffman, Executive Chairman of LinkedIn and partner at Greylock Partners, and Maria Eitel, President and CEO of the Nike Foundation. The perfectly sunny day only made welcoming the newest members of the Alumni & Friends Network more enjoyable. View a recap of the photos, videos, tweets, status updates, and more.

Babson's official cartoonist, Hugh Macleod of Gapingvoid, created this cartoon as a complement to President Schlesinger's message during the 2012 Commencement exercises. As students, they were empowered to move outside their comfort zones, to do something different, to enroll others in their ideas, to take a step and, when the path is not straight and clear, to pivot. With rapid change as the norm, they will find that learning how to pivot will be of value for the rest of their lives.

BABSON CARTOON
A cartoonist and a business school are an unlikely pair but Babson isn't a traditional business school and Hugh Macleod of Gapingvoid, our official cartoonist, isn't your typical artist. In partnership, Gapingvoid and Babson are helping entrepreneurs lead organizations, by better communicating stories through cartoons that can inspire and align. The cartoons make statements, spark conversations, and inspire action. They help us communicate our belief in the power of entrepreneurship in organizations of all shapes and sizes and our strategy to lead the advancement of Entrepreneurship of All Kinds® to make a better world.

Babson's official cartoonist, Hugh Macleod of Gapingvoid, created these original cartoons to complement Reid Hoffman and Maria Eitel's message during the 2012 Commencement exercises.
