Babson Granted 10 Year Full Accreditation from New England Association of Schools and Colleges
Earlier this month, President Schlesinger shared the great news that Babson had been granted 10 year full accreditation from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Last fall a NEASC peer review team of 8 educators from colleges and universities in the region came to campus. Over a 72-hour visit, the review team met with faculty, staff, students and governance. This process represented a full assessment of Babson College from a team of educators who are not part of our community. The accreditation outcome was very positive for Babson and confirmed that our reputation continues to grow on many fronts. In particular they pointed to our curriculum at both the undergraduate and graduate level was recognized as strong and aligned with our mission and learning goals. The engagement of students in experience-based learning was regarded as deepening the learning experience and building community.

BABSON CARTOON

A cartoonist and a business school are an unlikely pair but Babson isn't a traditional business school and Hugh Macleod of Gapingvoid, our official cartoonist, isn't your typical artist. In partnership, Gapingvoid and Babson are helping entrepreneurs lead organizations, by better communicating stories through cartoons that can inspire and align. The cartoons make statements, spark conversations, and inspire action. They help us communicate our belief in the power of entrepreneurship in organizations of all shapes and sizes and our strategy to lead the advancement of Entrepreneurship of All Kinds® to make a better world. Featured below is the third in a series of cartoons that will be released monthly in our Alumni Newsletter.
