Fast Track Founder on a New Track Mark Rice, Frederic C. Hamilton Professor for Free Enterprise, is leaving Babson to become the first dean of Worcester Polytechnic Institute's newly established school of business. Rice, an admired teacher in Babson's Entrepreneurship Division, served six years as the Murata Dean of the Graduate School. He also served as professor of Technology Entrepreneurship at Olin College of Engineering. Rice's leadership, energy, and drive helped establish the Fast Track MBA, now one of Babson's largest programs. Learn More >>
At the Head of the Class BusinessWeek ranked Babson #17 on its 2010 Best Undergraduate Business Schools list, up six spots from 2009 and 16 spots in three years. Babson rose to sixth place in overall student satisfaction, earning an A+ in teaching quality, an A on facilities and services, and an A in job placement. Springing Forward This month, 34 students began the new San Francisco Fast Track MBA Program. The class kicked off the semester by first spending a week on campus with the Wellesley-based cohort. Start Here for Startup Talent Showcase your startup or small venture and interview potential candidates for internships, part-time or full-time positions, all on the same day. Babson is hosting the 2nd annual Small Venture and Startup Career Fair on April 14 from 5-7 p.m. Gain one-stop access to ambitious and interested graduate and undergraduate students. Center for Women's Leadership March is Women's History Month.
Babson Athletics The Babson women's basketball team made it all the way to the Elite 8 in
the Division III NCAA tournament for the first time in program history.
The record-setting season ended with a loss in the regional finals to
#1-ranked Amherst College. Congratulations to Babson for a record 28-4
year. Read More >> Babson Executive Education (BEE) Hundreds of organizations from virtually every key industry have chosen

At the End of the Day Join us on Wednesday, March 31, 6-7:30 p.m.,
for "Influencing Social Enterprise in Boston," the second in a four-part
series sponsored by Babson's Lewis Initiative. The first forum
addressed key challenges and opportunities that arise when an enterprise
embeds corporate social responsibility into its DNA. Building on the
lessons learned, the second forum will look at ways three Boston
executives have successfully infused social values into their
organizational structures and the resulting impacts. The free event will

2010 Alumni Entrepreneur Hall of Fame Nominate
fellow Babson alumni or yourself for the 3rd annual Alumni Entrepreneur Hall of Fame Award. Honorees will be inducted at a dinner
ceremony on October 15 on campus. Established in 2008, the Hall of Fame
welcomes alumni who distinguish themselves in entrepreneurial endeavors
