Lemesos (Limassol) Festival |

The official Carnival dates have been announced from the 19th to 26th of February 2012.
The festivities will commence with the grand entrance of the "Queens of Amazon", followed by the Children's Carnival Parade and the Serenade's parade. During the festivities, which mainly happen at night, residents of Limassol dance in the streets following the cities most elaborately decorated chariots depicting the local life in Cyprus.
Visit the city and see how the residents of Limassol love to enjoy the carnival!

The Cyprus Tourism Organisation alongside with its Cypriot partners will host a UAE road show on 28 and 29 March 2012.
This is an excellent opportunity for the UAE travel trade to come and interact on a one-one basis with the Cypriot DMC's, travel agents and hoteliers as to prepare for the upcoming season.

28 March 2012, at 11:00am, ADNEC (adjacent to GIBTM venue), Abu Dhabi. Lunch at Aloft Hotel, Dine Restaurant.
29 March 2012, at 11:00am, Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel, Dubai. Lunch at Le Metro (lobby level).

GIBTM 2012 |

The The Cyprus Tourism Organisation will be participating with Cypriot travel professionals at the fourth edition of the GIBTM, which is the only exhibition for the global meetings and incentives industry in the Middle East, taking place at the ADNEC exhibition centre in Abu Dhabi, from the 26th to the 28th of March 2012.
The incentive market which is currently booming from the Middle East has made Cyprus one of its chosen destinations due to its proximity, high level specialized travel professionals and its competitive off season rates.
