Lebanon Workshop 2011

We are glad to announce that the CTO Middle East & Arabian Gulf will organize its 3rd 'Cyprus in Your Heart' workshop in Beirut on the 14th of December 2011.

The workshop will allow travel professionals from Cyprus to meet Lebanese travel agents and tour operators.

The workshop will take place at the Phoenicia Intercontinental Hotel in Beirut in collaboration with the Association of Travel & Tourist Agent of Lebanon.

The workshop will commence at 18:00, followed by a dinner at 21:00. All Cypriot travel professionals willing to participate please kindly email vassilis@cyprusme.com by the 30th of November as space is l

2011 FxPro Cyprus Rally

As the 2011 Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) approaches the halfway point, the organisers of this year's FxPro Cyprus Rally - the final event in the Challenge - held recently a press conference in Lefkosia (Nicosia), looking ahead at what promises to be an exciting event.

A team from "Eurosport Events" - a subsidiary of the popular European sports broadcasting network Eurosport - have been in Cyprus in recent days, touring the special stages that will challenge IRC drivers between the 4th and 6th November.

Cyprus is one of five of this year's IRC events that Eurosport has selected for live special stage broadcasts. As such, two stages will be transmitted live to rally fans - who will get to experience one of the world's most exhilarating motorsports events as it happens. During their visit, the Eurosport Events team studied the route of this year's FxPro Cyprus Rally - already regarded as one of the most photogenic sports events on the international rallying scene - and assessed the potential for video footage both from the ground, helicopter, and onboard the competing cars themselves.

سياحة الحوافز لعام 2011

بعد تجربة ناحجة استغرقت عدة سنوات تقوم منظمة السياحة القبرصية بإعادة تدشين برنامج تشجيع سياحة المؤتمرات والحوافز لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط ودول أخرى كالهند. يهدف البرنامج إلى مساعدة الشركات والمنظمات التي تسعى إلى تنظيم رحلات الحوافز الخاصة بها إلى قبرص.

يتوجب على وكيل السفر(*) ارسال الطلب قبل شهر واحد من موعد الرحلة للحصول على ما يلي:

آ) حتى 50 شخص: هدية تذكارية لكل شخص + استقبال من قبل مكتب منظمة السياحة القبرصية في المطار(**) + مواد إعلانية مطبوعة.

ب) من 50 - 100 شخص: هدية تذكارية لكل شخص + استقبال + مواد مطبوعة + غداء أو عشاء بقيمة تصل إلى 25 يورو للفرد الواحد.

ج) 100 شخص فما فوق: هدية تذكارية لكل شخص + استقبال + مواد مطبوعة + غداء أو عشاء بقيمة تصل إلى 25 يورو للفرد الواحد + نقل بالحافلة من وإلى المطار.

يُعطى المبلغ إلى وكيل السفر الأجنبي (غير القبرصي) بناءً على لائحة النزلاء (التي تقدم عن طريق وكيل السفر القبرصي أوغير القبرصي).

يُحتسب الغداء أو العشاء بناء على الإيصال المقدم من المطعم، فإذا كانت الوجبة أقل من 25 يورو تقوم منظمة السياحة القبرصية بدفع المبلغ المذكور في الإيصال (مثلاً، إذا كان الإيصال يشير إلى 17 يورو للشخص الواحد، سنقوم بدفع ذاك المبلغ فقط).

يجب الحصول على موافقة أجرة الحافلة قبل البدء بالرحلة.

الخطة غير قابلة للتفاوص ولا يمكن تغيير او استبدال أي من المزايا المتاحة.

(*) يجب تقديم الطلبات مباشرة من قبل وكيل السفر الأجنبي (غير القبرصي) حيث أن تعاملنا في هذا الخصوص سيكون محصوراً به.

(**) سيتم الإعداد للإستقبال ضمن مواعيد العمل الرسمية الخاصة بمكتب منظمة السياحة القبرصية في المطار.

Incentive Scheme 2011

Following last years successful MICE incentive scheme program the CTO is re-launching this year for all our trade partners in the Middle East and beyond. The program is geared to assist corporate and associations wishing to organize their incentives trips in Cyprus.

All agents* must send a note of interest one month prior to sending their groups to Cyprus to be able to receive the following:

A) Group of up to 50 participants: corporate gift for each participant + meet and assist services upon arrival by CTO Airport Office** + promotional printed material.

B) Group of 50 to 100 participants: gift + meet and assist + printed material + up to 25 euros per person for one meal.

C) Group of over 100 participants: gift + meet and assist + printed material + up to 25 euros per person for one meal + bus transfer from and to the airport.

The sum is given to the foreign travel agency against a rooming list (this rooming list could be provided by the Cypriot DMC or the foreign travel agency).

Invoices form the restaurant will cover lunch/dinner up to 25 EURO per person for one meal. If the meal is less than 25 EURO, the CTO will compensate the exact amount (therefore if the price is 17 EURO per person, the CTO should only pay this amount).

The bus transfer fees will be first approved by the CTO prior to the event.

The scheme is also non negotiable and we cannot swap or replace any of the benefits.

*All proposals must come directly from the foreign travel agent as we shall only be dealing with them and not the Cypriot travel agents.

** The welcome from the CTO will only be applicable with the working hours of the CTO Airport.

ورشة العمل السياحية القبرصية في لبنان

يسعدنا أن نعلمكم بأن منظمة السياحة القبرصية - مكتب الشرق الأوسط والخليج العربي، ستقوم بتنظيم ورشة العمل السياحية القبرصية الثالثة بعنوان "قبرص في قلبك" في بيروت بتاريخ 14 كانون الأول / ديسمبر 2011.

وستكون ورشة العمل هذه مناسبة هامة للتواصل بين المتخصصين في النشاط السياحي في البلدين الجارين.

ستقام ورشة العمل في فندق فينيسيا انتركونتننتال في بيروت بالتعاون والتنسيق مع نقابة أصحاب مكاتب السفر والسياحة في لبنان.

وستنطلق ورشة العمل في الساعة 18:00، يليها حفل عشاء في الساعة 21:00. وستقوم منظمة السياحة القبرصية بدعوة كافة وكلاء السفر القبرصيين لحضور هذا الحدث الهام.

رالي إف أكس برو قبرص 2011

رالي قبرص

مع اقتراب رالي تحدي القارات 2011 إلى نهايته قام منظمو سباق رالي "أف إكس برو قبرص" (FxPro Cyprus) - وهو المرحلة الأخيرة من مشوار التحدي، بعقد مؤتمر صحفي في ليفكوسيا (نيقوسيا) لتسليط الأضواء على هذا الحدث المثير للغاية.

مؤخراً قام فريق من "يوروسبورت" (شبكة الأخبار الرياضية الأوروبية) بزيارة قبرص والتعرف على مختلف مراحل هذه التحدي الذي سيجري من 4-6 نوفمبر 2011

اختارت قناة "يوروسبورت" هذا الرالي كواحد من خمسة راليات تابعة لرالي تحدي القارات 2011 من أجل التغطية الإعلامية المفصلة. وسيتم بث مرحلتين من مراحل السباق بثاً مباشراً. وقد قام طاقم القناة بدراسة دقيقة لمسار السباق والذي يعد من أكثر السباقات المحاطة بأجواء الطبيعة الساحرة. وقام الفريق برصد الأماكن الملائمة للتصويرالأرضي والجوي (عن طريق الهليكوبتر) وكذلك من داخل المركبات المتنافسة.
