Lemesos (Limassol) Festival |
Dear All!
The official Carnival dates have been announced from the 24th of April to the 6th of March 2011.
The festivities will commence with the grand entrance of the "Queens of Amazon", followed by the Children's Carnival Parade and the Serenade's parade. During the festivities, which mainly happen at night, residents of Limassol dance in the streets following the cities most elaborately decorated chariots depicting the local life in Cyprus.
