Apostolic visit of His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI to Cyprus |
His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI will be visiting Cyprus from the 4th to the 6th of June, where he shall be visiting holy sites and carrying out a mass for the Eucharistic Celebration on the occasion of the publication of the Instrumentum laboris of the Special Assembly for the Middle East of the Synod of Bishops - Eleftheria sports centre (Nicosia, 6 June 2010). |

Arabian Travel Market 2010 |
The Cyprus Tourism Organisation will be participating with Cypriot travel professionals at the Arabian Travel Market, which is the largest tourism exhibition in the Middle East, taking place at the DICEC exhibition centre in Dubai, from the 4th of May to the 7th of May.

Use your Schengen visa to enter Cyprus with no need of a Cypriot visa! |
On the 4th of March 2009, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus announced new special measures to increase tourism with regards to the current world economic crisis which is mentioned below.
Entrance to the Republic is of national interest, this measure is geared for all those from non-EU countries holding valid Schengen entry visas.
With regards to these new developments please read below:
Residents of non-EU countries who hold valid Schengen visas and who have already entered Schengen countries, as per the Schengen regulations, may now travel to Cyprus without applying for a National Cypriot visa and stay in the Republic for the duration of their Schengen visa.
The new legislation is crucial for all agents selling Cyprus, as effective immediately travelers from the region can access Cyprus swiftly and with less bureaucracy! |

يمكن لحاملي تأشيرة شينغن دخول قبرص بدون الحاجة لتأشيرة دخول قبرصية |
أصدرت وزارة خارجية جمهورية قبرص، بتاريخ 4 مارس 2009، إجراءات جديدة خاصة بتشجيع السياحة بسبب الأزمة الاقتصادية العالمية.
تنطبق هذا الإجراءات على حاملي التأشيرات شينغن السارية من كافة الجنسيات من غير حملة جنسية دول الاتحاد الأوروبي، إذ يمكن لمواطني دول غير الإتحاد الأوروبي ممن يحملون تأشيرة شينغن سارية وقد قاموا باستعمال هذه التأشيرة لدخول دول شينغن سابقاً، يمكن لهم السفر إلى قبرص بدون تقديمهم طلب حصول على تأشيرة وطنية قبرصية، كما يمكن لهم الإقامة في جمهورية قبرص طوال مدة صلاحية تأشيرة شينغن تلك.
القانون الجديد هام جداً لمقدمي خدمات السفر والسياحة المتعلقة بقبرص، فاعتباراً من هذا التاريخ، يمكن للمسافرين من المنطقة دخول قبرص بسهولة ويسر عبر روتين حكومي أقل! |
