So...Why Support Your PSW Region?

The answers are as abundant and diverse as our Region's 133 congregations.

Over the next few weeks, we will share a few answers to this question. Each answer will tell a story from a different Regional voice and each will offer its own insight into why supporting your PSW Region is so important.

The first story is an excerpt from a thank you letter written to the Region. It was from Ruben del Pilar, who is one of the most passionate young leaders in our Region and in the Hispanic Convencion.

Dear PSW Region,

Due to the help of this region we were able to take fifteen youth along with four adults to our National Hispanic Convention in Orlando, Florida.

Just to see their expressions, as many of these youth had never set foot on a plane or even left the state of California was a joy in itself, and this region helped in accomplishing what I set out for these youth, which were:

1)    To experience something new

2)    To attain new friendships

3)    To grow as a youth group

4)    To have some FUN

As a group we accomplished all of these things and then some! And the friendships that they built will last a lifetime, and because of your generosity and assistance, you helped to make all this possible.

One last thing, I am proud to say is that Fuente de Vida took the most representatives of any congregation to the National Convention.
