Chandler Hill Vineyards September Newsletter
Greetings from Chandler Hill Vineyards! Hopefully, everyone enjoyed the summer season despite our area's usual heat and humidity. Whatever the weather, we always enjoy seeing new and familiar faces at the vineyards. We're also appreciative of the support we receive from all of you who choose to spend your time at Chandler Hill.

Our thanks go out to everyone who joined us for our special Memorial Day Celebration. As a result of your patriotism and generosity we were able to donate $5000 to the USO and Fisher House. We intend to make this an annual event.

We also want to extend our thanks to all of you whose votes led us to some exciting recognition lately. They include:

St. Louis Magazine 2010 A-List. (Editor's pick for best winery)

Sauce Magazine 2010 Readers Choice. (Favorite local winery)

Ladue News 2010 (Most fun winery)

We feel fortunate to have been honored, and we'll continue to strive to keep each of our guests interested in returning again and again.

As far as our wines, we couldn't be more pleased. We've been able to secure some outstanding wines from a variety of Missouri and West Coast Vineyards. In addition, we have produced the first harvest of our Vignoles. Currently, it is one of our top sellers. We will continue to visit with each of our suppliers in Missouri and the West Coast. Our goal is to create the best wines for Chandler Hill and our guests to enjoy.

Although the winter months of January and February seem far off, many of you are beginning to plan private and corporate events. If you haven't had the pleasure of spending time at Chandler Hill during the winter months, you are missing something special. We take on a lodge-like feel with a roaring fire in the fireplace and fire pits on the deck. We're committed to staying open year round, so we hope you'll take advantage of using Chandler Hill as a special venue at this time. If you book an event with us during this time, we will waive the rental fee.

Once again, many thanks to each of you who frequent Chandler Hill. This month marks our second year of being in business and we wouldn't be where we are without your tremendous support. As always, the best way to keep up with our schedule and all other information concerning the winery is to check our website at www.chandlerhillvineyards.com.

With Great Appreciation,

Chuck Gillentine

Chandler Hill Vineyards Investment Opportunity

On July 16, Chandler Hill Vineyards celebrated our second anniversary. When we opened, we hoped we would be successful, but the response from the public has far exceeded our expectations.  In the past two years, we have welcomed more than 100,000 visitors and 100 weddings, with growth exceeding our goals.

If you have been with us from the beginning, I am sure you have seen the improvements we have made, including the catering and restaurant menus, wine selections, special events, music and our gift shop area.

We are even more excited about our expansion plans. First, because the success of private events, we plan to enlarge the deck, kitchen and parking area. This will allow us to stay open on event nights and allow more than one private event per evening. It also will allow us to have an outdoor covered area that can handle rainy days. Secondly, I have been asked hundreds of times about the old gray house on the property that was built in the 1800s. We have plans to build it into a bed and breakfast that will be booked most weekends and many weekdays during the year.

Many of our guests have asked about investment opportunities with Chandler Hill. With the above expansion plans, we have voted and approved raising additional capital for the expansion. This will be a very limited and last opportunity to become a partner with Chandler Hill. If you are interested to explore this great opportunity, please contact me and I will be more than happy to discuss.

We recently harvested our Vignoles field and yielded 1200 gallons, which equated to approximately 6,000 bottles.

We will be harvesting the Chambourcin field in two weeks.

We will have our Norton and King Buck varietals back in stock next week.
