FYI: It is time for the next application of fertilizer for anyone that hasn't picked theirs up yet!

Look below at Fall Seminars!

Fall Fertilizer Programs:

We are offering Fall Fertilizer Programs similar to what we offer in the spring.  Each program has a different job to fit each yard's specific needs. For anyone interested in fertilizing this fall here are some options for you.  Each program has a description, but if you have any questions just let me know!

If you purchase the entire program you will receive 15% off of the list price.
Click Here to view the PDF sheet with the multiple programs listed.  If you don't have Adobe Reader to view the PDF click here.

General Rule of thumb:
Fescue/Bluegrass yards will do either the "Established Weed Free Lawn" or the "Winter Weed Control"

Bermuda/Buffalo yards with do either "Basic Weed Prevention" or "'The Works' Weed Prevention"

 Yellow-rumpled Warbler Dendroica coronata

During the month of September we will look a four species of warblers that are found during spring and fall migration. The well named Yellow-rumped Warbler will soon be passing through the Texas Panhandle. This is the most common warbler seen in the Panhandle, once considered two separate species the Audubon's and Myrtle are now considered geographic representative of one species. The eastern race (Myrtle) has a white throat and the western race (Audubon's) has a yellow throat. These pretty mid sized warblers nest north of the Texas Panhandle and winter south even into Central America. If you miss seeing them during fall migration look for them again during next April when they will be in breeding plumage and easier to identify.
