A SPECIAL NEW FRIEND OF PSCKY
Baby CloudWe're pleased to share this photo of PSCKY's newest friend, Miss Charlotte Joyce Cloud. She was born in Louisville on Saturday, October 3rd at 7pm. Her mother, Ginger Wilding Cloud, has been working with PSCKY throughout this past year to bring awareness to our community about PSCKY and PD. Please join us in congratulating the happy family, including father Chan Cloud!
COOL TOOLS
Medication ManagementWe often receive questions about medication timers. Useful timers range from watches to vibrating pill boxes. Others include talking reminder alarms and even automatic medication dispensers. Some folks need a timer/pill box that has the capability to hold more meds than standard boxes.

Here are some quick tips on medication management. We hope you will join us for Lunch & Learn on Wednesday, October 28th at noon (Meadowview Presbyterian Church) to hear pharmacist Lynn Harrelson and movement disorders specialist Dr. Walter Olson speak and answer your medication management questions.
AREA RESOURCES
Our friends at Jewish Family & Career Services are hosting a Workshop on Movement Disorders with Dr. Walter Olson next Wednesday, October 21st at 1pm. Care partners and people with Parkinson's are welcome. Dr. Olson will hold an interactive discussion about various types of movement disorders, as well as many ways to cope. For more information, please contact Marilyn Bornstein at 502-452-6341 ext. 278.

We'd also like to remind you of the Community Fitness and Wellness Facility at Frazier Rehab Institute. This activity-based exercise program is designed for individuals with physical disability and assists participants in improving cardiovascular/aerobic fitness, muscular strengthening and flexibility. Basic membership packages start at $50/month, with discounted rates available for students and seniors.
