Greetings!

First THANKS for your support and patience with the multiple personalities with my newsletter design and color palettes.  If I waited for everything to be perfect my Traveling Sanctuary would never lay down any rubber along Life Avenue.  I call it trystorming.  Why give my brain all the fun. Here's to burning rubber ladies!!!  I am sure I will be hiring Kirsten, the Designing B*A*G Lady some time in the near future.  Trust me I am not opposed to calling in the professionals when necessary.

Last Friday, a handful of Minnesota MBL's, gathered for a casual get together and the showing of The Glow Project, marking the first of many more Modern B*A*G Lady gatherings to come.  Click on the link and check out the movie trailer.   A movie that will inspire and uplift you by sharing personal life stories and success strategies of accomplished and inspiring women.  INTERESTED IN WATCHING? Drop me an email and I would be happy to lend you my copy.  What could be better than a bunch of glowing B*A*G Ladies? Mariah Carey has cornered the market on Glitter, so we'll go with the Glow.

As I write this evening, I am completed jazzed, anticipating the arrival of 16 out of town guest for the Thanksgiving holiday and wondering what came first, "Thanks" or "Giving"?  Well, today am I thankful that I have the means to give my time and monetary blessings to others.  I am on day 26 of the 29 Gift Challenge and all I can say is that giving has been a gift indeed, for which I am thankful.

So..... speaking of GIVING.  In my appreciation of your support of my crazy B*A*G Lady endeavors I would like to gift all existing members on my mailing list a Modern B*A*G Lady key chain.  Carry this key chain every day reminding you to fuel up. Gee, what good is a Believe Act Go Traveling Sanctuary on an empty tank. Fuel up, turn the key and GO Lady GO along your Oh Yes journey spreading joy , shredding fear and having fun.

Diversity Makes for a Spicy Group of  Women
RosieOh so different and yet so alike
How comfortable it can be to hang with your own kind.  The security of familiarity can be hypnotizing and trick you into believing it is the path to happiness.

Venturing out can be scary for some of us, especially as it relates to women friendships.  Personally as a young girl growing up I was very introverted.  I had a few close friends, but was happy to hang with the family most of the time.

As I grow older and hopefully wiser, I have ventured out more with my friendships, knowing each is unique, accepting it's gift.  Just the other day I was talking to one of my very best B*A*G friends about this subject.  We transformed into little Girl Scouts, breaking out in song,  "Make new friends but keep the old.  One is silver and the other gold."

In this spirit, I, on very short notice, invited a diverse group of women to my home last week.  It was a spontaneous invitation extended on short notice.  A group of 6 women gathered and it was the diversity that created the energy and within that diversity we found the common thread that connected us as women.

Best friend friendships may not have been formed at this small diverse gathering, but we all agreed we needed this fueling station once a month.

"We can do it!  We can make a commitment to fueling ourselves with the support and fellowship of a diverse group of women."
This Week's B*A*G Challenge
Shredding Fear

My fear prevents me from making decisions, which causes a BIG OLE case of procrastination.  Then I take my Procrastination Boxing Glove and beat the energy out of myself.  I have found my intuition has never failed me.  So here is my own personal cure.

Make a decision and make your commitment known.

When I verbalize my commitment I do not want to disappoint myself and others.  Set backs happen and a change of plans may be necessary, but don't bury your intuition with indecision, simply make a new decision and commitment.

So here's my decision this week.  Mark your calendars.

Saturday January 17th 2009

Somewhere in MN, sun, rain or snow MBAGL's will come together for some fun and sharing.

More details to follow......

Spread Joy. Shred Fear. Have Fun.

As we prepare for a Thanksgiving feast by bringing out the spices, remember variety (diversity) is the spice of life.  Take your Traveling Sanctuary along a new route in search of some new spicy fuel.
