WORKOUT FOR A CAUSE

Join us on June 9th as we Workout For a Cause

Are you game for 3 hours of nonstop aerobics, or a 20 minute marathon on the rowing machine or bike?  You also have the option to compete in a bench press competition.  What's this all about?

Participants will obtain pledges based on how many aerobic minutes they complete, how many miles or meters they can bike or row, or the number of reps they can lift.

  • Aerobathon:  9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
  • Bench for a Cause:  2:00-5:00 p.m.
  • Rowathon:  8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
  • Spinathon:  8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Workout For a Cause benefits our Guardian financial assistance program, which keeps the Y available for kids and families who need us most.  We count on the generosity of our members and community to help people of all ages and from all walks of life be more healthy, confident, connected and secure.

Yes, I will make a difference.  When you give to the Y, your gift will have a meaningful, enduring impact right in our own neighborhood.

  • Your pledges totaling $250 ensures that five children will be safe in the water through swim lessons.
  • Your pledges totaling $125 allows a child to build friendships through a week of summer day camp.
  • Your pledges totaling $75 give teens leadership skills that last a lifetime through Teen Leaders Club.
