PLAY HERE

The place for fun and health!

At the Y, "play time" can de-stress, bring families play herecloser together, or fulfill the need for challenge and camaraderie.  The ability to "play" seems to get lost as we age and mature, but is vital to our health and well-being.  Invite your friends to play at the Y.  If they join September 6-27, we'll waive their joining fee; families save $100!

EASIER PROGRAM REGISTRATION COMING

In an effort to make it easier for our members to find and register for programs we are making some updates to our online program search.

Beginning September 7th, a new program search bar will replace the program list you may be familiar with.  You'll simply type the name of the program or a program keyword and a list of options will appear.  It's that easy!  Nothing has changed in the actual program registration process, only the program search will be updated.

To view a short video click here.

We hope this makes it easier and faster to find the programs you are looking for.

To register for programs online please visit our website.  If you have questions, please contact the Welcome Center at 365-4060.

FESTIVAL OF TREES

Our Festival of Trees event is Saturday, November 19th at the Smithfield Center from 7:00p-10:00p.  This fun filled evening will include hors d'oeuvres, beverages, music, and a silent as well as a live auction.  Tickets are now available at the Y, any staff or Board Member.

Why do we have the Festival of Trees?FOT

Program fees do not cover the full cost of our vital community programs.  Our guardian program provides financial assistance so that no individual is denied a chance to participate because of the inability to pay.  Offering these opportunities makes our community a better place to live and work.

The Goal

This year the Luter Family Y will host the third annual Festival of Trees.  This event, along with the other divisions of the Strong Communities Campaign will help us reach our $68,500 goal for community scholarships for 2011.
