This week... Four members of the Jamul/Dulzura Planning Group visited the Jamul Indian Village's new Tribal Hall based on an invitation from Mr. Robert Mesa at the February 14th meeting when he stated "no expense was spared". To hear what they have to say about it, please attend the planning group's meeting at Oak Grove Middle School's library on Tuesday, March 13th at 7:30pm.

 

As reported last week, the Jamul Indian Village (JIV) representatives attended the Jamul/Dulzura Planning Group meeting February 14th. Steve Davis, a project manager with Summit Project Management (recent local project: Sycuan expansion) and Dave Nielsen, senior advisor at MJE Marketing Services (do not have any tribes listed as a client), have been hired by the tribe to spear head their plans for a casino. 

 

The JIV is slated on the planning group's agenda for March 13th. It is unknown if the tribe has the plans/report they discussed at the February 14th meeting.

WATCH FOR THE DATE FOR THE TRIBE'S PUBLIC HEARING TO TAKE PUBLIC INPUT ON THEIR ENVIRONMENTAL EVALUATION IN EARLY APRIL.
