Why am I here? What is my purpose in life?
Have you ever struggled with those questions? You are not alone.
Our culture will tell us that the purpose in life is to grab as much as we possibly can so that we and our families can live in luxury and contentment. Many will apply themselves diligently to the task, and although they may earn a good living, and don't want for anything material, there is still a nagging question of purpose. "Is this really what it is all about?"
While earning a living and providing for our families is a good an honorable thing, there is so much more if we are willing to give ourselves to Christ. He will use us in ways that we can't even imagine to bring fulfillment to the time we have on Earth.
If you want to know God's purpose for your life, get to know Him. Spend time in prayer and meditation, reading His Word to bring clarity to His purpose for you. There is definatly more to life than the rat race, and each of us can play an integral part in God's plan if we allow Him to lead.

Some Parting Fun....

Little Bobby was spending the weekend with his grandmother after a particularly trying week in kindergarten. His grandmother decided to take him to the park on Saturday morning. It had been snowing all night and everything was beautiful. His grandmother remarked..."doesn't it look like an artist painted this scenery? Did you know God painted this just for you?" Bobby said, "Yes, God did it and he did it left handed." This confused his grandmother a bit, and she asked him "What makes you say God did this with his left hand?" "Well," said Bobby, ......... "we learned at Sunday School last week
that Jesus sits on God's right hand!"
