The Word Became Flesh  

Perhaps you have read the account of little 8 year old Virginia O'Hanlon, who in 1897 wrote to the editor of the New York Sun.  Her question to the editor was simply "Please tell me the truth, is there a Santa Claus?"  

The response given by editor Frances P. Church, a Baptist minister's son, has become a classic shared every Christmas since that first publication. "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy." (link to original article) 

Many people today are searching for an answer as well.   They are searching for the true meaning of Christmas and from within the hustle and bustle of the season they are asking, even pleading, "Please tell us the truth, is there a Jesus Christ?"

Without a doubt I can personally proclaim that Jesus Christ does indeed exist and lives today!  

The evidence is overwhelming! He's taken away the guilt of my transgressions and washed me whiter than snow. No longer do I live in bondage to the sin that enslaved me. He has made me a new creation in Him and I am not the same person as before His grace transformed me. And even more, not only I, but He lives within the hearts of all those whom have repented and accepted him as Lord and Savior.

In the majesty of creation we also witness and proclaim the evidence of Jesus Christ.   He was there at the beginning, and His divine presence can be found in the vastness of a galaxy, as well as in the minutia of an atom. The birth of a child, the blooming of a flower, the quiet of a moonlit forest on a snowy night or the crashing of ocean waves against a rocky shoreline are all but a few examples of the evidence of Jesus Christ. Each time we witness these, and many, many other, examples of His majestic creation we witness the existence of Jesus.
