Always be prepared....1 peter 3:15
Last week's newsletter shared a plan for lifting friends, neighbors, and family before the Lord. As we pray for those God has placed on our hearts, it is very important that we are prepared to share His plan of salvation with them when they are ready. Leading someone to Christ is not difficult especially when prayer has brought the person to you. Having an idea of what to say, and how to present the Gospel, when the time comes, will enable you to confidently lay out the steps.
Two weeks ago, our pastor shared an outline of the "Bridge to Life", a very easy way to present the Gospel that anyone can use, anywhere, anytime. This isn't a new, or novel, method but it is one that has been used by numerous people to introduce a friend to God's plan of salvation. The Navigators Organization, based in Colorado Springs have put together a very nice rendition of the model for distribution. People grasp things differently and this simple method uses the words of your heart along with simple graphics to show the way.
I encourage you to check out this method of sharing the Gospel. When asked what it is that gives you hope, use this with confidence to lead your friend to the answer. Click the link to open a page that can be printed out, become familiar with the model; draw it out yourself and practice the words you will use. When those whom you have been praying ask, you will be prepared to usher them into the saving Grace of our Lord.

 You most likely noticed that this week's newsletter is coming to you a couple of days early. It is early this week because on Friday, our normal newsletter delivery day, we are going to send a special edition just for Christian Store Week.
To be honest, I struggled with sending this edition out because I know that we are all flooded with email. Over the past year though I have received so many comments about looking forward to the articles and daily Bible reading schedule that I decided I had to send it.
