Greetings!
Please join us in supporting local and world-wide missions this week as we celebrate faith and community during Christian Store Week. Each day will bring new surprises and special offers to help you as you help others.
On Saturday, October 1st we kick off the week with a special event for children of all ages. At 10:30 AM, the premier red carpet event and showing of "Little Drummer Boy", a VeggieTale Chrismas, will take place in our children's department. Bring a friend and be the first to see the movie while enjoying crafts, prizes and just plain fun.
Throughout the week of October 3 -7 there are coupons, coupons and more coupons, along with unadvertised specials. You never know, but you may just find some special entertainment in the store as you shop. Check this email for coupons that can be printed out and used throughout the week.
On Saturday, October 8th, there will be two authors in the store to share with you about the joys and challenges of writing. Each will have their book on sale and will be more than happy to autograph a copy just for you. Stop in to meet and support them as they use their gift of writing to help spread the good news through their words.
God Bless, The Logos Family <><

All participants of the CD have contributed their part at no cost so a one-time donation earmarked for World Vision food aid programs may be made on behalf of the Christian retail community.
For more than fifteen years, families across the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands and other countries have had a wonderful opportunity to impact the lives of less fortunate children across the globe.
Through the ministry of Samaritans Purse , an international relief organization headed up by Franklin Graham, Operation Christmas Child has delivered more than 46 million shoe boxes filled with toys, personal hygiene items, booklets, school supplies, and other items not readily available locally to many of the recipients.
It isn't too early to start thinking about how you and your family can participate - Operation Christmas Child is your opportunity to impact young lives as well as demonstrate to your family the real meaning of Christmas: giving.
Bring your shoe box filled with contents or find one here to fill. Logos will have appropriate items available to fill the box and will make sure the box is taken to a collection point for shipment. Everyone giving a Shoe Box donation for Operation Christmas Child will be entered into a drawing for one of the Books of the Bible wooden puzzles.

Meet Author Jillian Kent
Jill received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Bethany College in West Virginia, and her Masters Degree in Social Work from WVU, and she brings her fascination with different cultures and societies into her writing.
Faith is another feature of Jill's work. "My Christian faith is very important to me and its only natural that God plays a part in my writing, because He is so much a part of my every day life," Jill says. "Faith is a journey for each of us, and I love to explore my character's faith issues--whether they are running toward God or away from Him--and the reasons behind their motives. Fascinating stuff!"
