If you are at all interested in Meeting or Event Planning, consider looking into the CSUS Continuing Education Meeting Planning Certificate Program. I completed this program several years ago and learned valuable tips about caterers, venues, special events, and many other areas of the meeting planning business.
One food tip I picked up is to set up your buffet line so the "signature dish" (usually most expensive) is at the end of the line. Diners will fill plates with salad and bread instead of taking all the shrimp and lobster! Have you ever noticed this at buffet lines? They usually go like this: plates, bread, salad, hot vegetables, rice or potatoes, entree, then the really good stuff. Of course now that you know this trick, check out the end of the line first before you load up your plate at the buffet! |

One of the premier Home & Garden Shows is coming to the Sacramento Convention Center on July 25-27. Lee Mahla is a Professional Organizer who will be presenting a workshop on "Tackling Your Paper Clutter".
Home and Garden Shows are a great way to find vendors who have the right products for your organizing challenges. Take your camera to snap photos of good ideas you can use at home. |
