April is a month of change. Here in Minnesota, one day we have warmth and sunshine, the next day it can snow again. The heavy, cloudy days can be discouraging.The angels remind us the sunlight is there, whether we can visibly see it or not. Just like God.

 

Here is a message the angels would like to share.

"Dearest one, come with us on a little journey. Imagine the sky is filled with the light of God, and angels and perhaps wonderful heavenly grandmothers, all shining light and love down to you. But, as you look up, you cannot see them for the clouds. Perhaps the clouds represent doubts, worries or fears in your life.

 

 

You see, the light of God was there all along. It was never gone, just waiting for you to ask to have the clouds swept away. You are never truly separate from God, from the light.The light of God is always there.

We, your angels, are here to assist you, to sweep away the clouds and to love you."

It is interesting this message from the angels came just after a trip where I had flown to Florida. When we took off, we were flying through heavy dense clouds. As the plane gained altitude, we broke though the clouds to see blue skies and sunshine. As I thought about it, the angel's message became even clearer to me. Of course the sunlight was there all along, I just couldn't see it.

 

So...ask your angels for help. And be blessed with the light of God.

 

Ellie is a beautiful mini-donkey, with a cross down her back and shoulders. She stands about three feet tall and has a very motherly presence. On one of our warmer, sunny days, I was sitting on a pile of hay beside Ellie. She was quietly munching on her own hay pile (she does love her food!). I found myself talking to her about things going on in my life.

 

 As I told Ellie I was worried about my mother's health, Ellie quit eating and put her head close to mine. She slowly moved her head down my body and stopped with her nose inches away from my heart. I could feel a tightness in my chest, and then a sense of warmth which seemed to come from Ellie. It was as if Ellie was sending love or healing energy into my heart. My breathing slowed down and I entered a state of deep relaxation. Ellie stayed by my heart for several minutes, and then went back to eating.The feeling of tightness in my chest was gone.

 

I wondered if her action had anything to do with my worries about my mother. I tried the same thing again a few days later. Sure enough, each time I would be talking about my mother, Ellie would stop eating (which is a major event for her) and would place her nose by my heart. I would feel warmth and relaxation for several minutes.

 

I was aware animals can be very sensitive to our feelings(more than us many times). Yet, their ability to send love, and ease the pain in our hearts is remarkable.I am in the process of developing more classes and workshops to be held here at Angelica Ranch, once we have warmer weather. The animals wonderful presence seems to assist with the classes, whether it is about them or not. It must be those big hearts they have.
