As many of you know, since 2002 Michigan's ash tree population has been devastated by the Emerald Ash Borer. The USDA has enforced firewood quarantines and steep fines in this state and others to try to control the threat of this exotic beetle.

 

Timber Ridge Resort is complying with our government agencies by requiring all of our guests to purchase approved firewood from Timber Ridge upon arrival. NO OUTSIDE FIREWOOD will be allowed into the park. We apologize for any inconvenience, but this is a serious matter that affects us all.
