Well, ladies, it's been a good run. We've noshed, skied, snowshoed, sipped spirits, shared stories, and strengthened friendships. Our final bonding experience for the 2008 winter season is coming up Wednesday.
To celebrate your last Women's Night, we are featuring YOU. Well, your best recipes, at least. It's our first annual Soup, Stew, and Chili Cook-Off. Create your tastiest dish to share with the gals and you could win a groovy prize! Just call Timber Ridge by Wednesday morning at (231) 947-2770 to let us know you're cooking. Make sure to have your dish in by 6:00 PM on Wednesday. You bring the slow cooker, we'll supply the bowls and utensils. If you don't want to whip up a pot o' soup, please feel free to share something else from your pantry (not elligible for the cook-off).
In addition to good eats, Living Light is again massaging weary muscles. Where else can you get a free, quality massage, I ask you?
And if that weren't enough, on top of skiing and snowshoeing, we're having a wine tasting with Left Foot Charley!
- If you want to learn about and discuss their varietals in a Q&A tasting, meet in the lodge for class. It will begin at 7:15.
- If you'd prefer a "drive-by" tasting without the class, pouring will begin for you at about 7:45 in the lodge. Please respect the "class in session".
The night will be full of memory-making moments, so don't miss it! Just $12 for EVERYTHING. Ski lessons are not scheduled for this event.
