11 September: 'Dare to Succeed' - A Roxy event designed to empower young women
An event sponsored by Roxy in conjunction with Quiksilver and the Quiksilver Foundation to specifically assist young women from disadvantaged backgrounds to prepare for entering the workforce.
 
03 October: Shell Geelong Refinery teams with Rainbow Riders to help disadvantaged youth
Local disadvantaged youths participate in a unique horse riding activity.

Volunteers for 'Midweek Basketball' needed
Norlane Neighbourhood House, City of Greater Geelong, Corio Norlane Neighbourhood Renewal, Leisure Networks, Victoria Police and Corio Bay Senior College are organising "Midweek Basketball" as an opportunity for some of the young people involved to come together to improve and learn new skills as well as catching up with friends.
