The Vintage Shoppe
Just outside Palermo, Sicily exists the most fertile countryside in the Conca d'Or, known for its pristine water ways, wild herb scented breezes, olive groves and intensely delicious wines.  We have been big fans of the Sicilian grape Nero D'Avola for some time now, but this newly discovered Nero D'Avola from Feudo Disisa is off-the-charts good in the under $20 that tastes like its $50 category.

It is a medium-full bodied, dard ruby red wine, with the most beautiful fragrance of Bing cherry syrup and violets.  Intense flavors of ripe cherries, raspberries and plums are seamlessly balanced by floral, herbaceous notes and silky tannins.  There are only 25 cases of this wine currently available, so you need to try it soon before we drink it all!
