2003 Silentium Reserva Ribera del Duero

The wine is 100% old vine Tempranillo that is aged in oak barrels for 18 months and spends an additional 14 months in the bottle before release. Robert Parker awarded this wine 90+ with his review in February of 2008: "The 2003 Reserva is opaque purple-colored with an expressive bouquet of toasty oak, spice box, earth, mineral, and blackberry. This leads to a full-bodied wine with good richness, excellent depth, and complex flavors."
