When we tasted this wine back in May, we knew we had discovered the perfect Thanksgiving wine, we were just not sure if it would arrive in time.  Fortunately it has!  We will be disappointed if this wine is not on all your Thanksgiving dinner tables, as the wine is so beautiful, interesting and perfectly suited to complement the flavors of a traditional turkey dinner.  
 
Bourgogne Mousseux Rouge means that the wine is sparkling Pinot Noir from Burgundy.  It is not a rose; it is a red wine with a deep ruby red color, and cherry & cranberry fruit with a solid structure composed of fine, elegant tannins.  The effervescence of the wine reduces the weight and power of the fruit and tannins so it will not overpower the delicate flavors of turkey and fixings.  Only a very small amount of this wine was imported, and even less is available to us, so please act quickly, you will be glad you did!
