Healthy Thoughts/Healthy Actions Weight Watchers Newsletter #40 |

Hi Everyone!
Those of you who attended the meetings this week will remember that the topic was motivation. What motivated us to act on our weight issue, and what continues to motivate us on our journey?
One big ah ha for most of the members was the fact that meetings play a huge part in re-claiming that lost motivational energy. Reconnecting with friends in the meeting room, getting re-inspired to try new products or recipes, and just the feeling you are recommitting to caring about your body and your health feels incredibly powerful for many of us.
So if you have been telling yourself that you need to find the motivation to get back to the meeting room, maybe the motivation can be found when you walk through the door. We miss you and would love to see your smiling face back with us!! |

And the week of the June 7th we will also be focusing on the economy, in a way, because we are looking at how to get exercise on the cheap as well!

LIFETIME MEMBERS SUPPORT GROUP
I have formed a Lifetime Member Support Group which will have its first meeting in Sebastopol on Tuesday, June 16th at 6pm. I have room for one more person, so if you are interested please email me. This is specifically for at-goal lifetime members who are feeling challenged to maintain their losses. We will meet once a month.
(This is NOT a Weight Watcher meeting, so you will still need to weigh-in monthly to maintain your Lifetime status.)

PRODUCT RECOMMENDATIONS
Newmans Own Spray Lite Salad Dressings
I have been searching for this product for months, after I had it at a party, but it seemed to be a figment of my imagination. Well a member told me to try Whole Foods and...ta da!
This wonderful dressing comes in a variety of flavors (I like the Asian Sesame) and it is 1 calorie per spray. In other words, you would have to spray your salad 50 times to add up to a point! The point I am making here is that basically this is zero, and it is very tasty. Try it out!
Clif Kid Bars
I am not sure why these are considered "kid" bars, as they are the size most of us should be consuming. I have found them in most markets which sell regular Clif Bars, and unlike the others, these are 2 pts and come in some scrumptious flavors. I like the chocolate chip best.

BEFORE AND AFTER PICS!!
Debra Key of Cotati has lost a stunning 55 lbs!
She is one of those members who is like the "energizer bunny". She just keeps going and going...down! Not quite at goal, but looking so fabulous I just had to put her in the newsletter.
How about one of you? I know so many of you have lost oodles of weight. Share your wonderul pics with all of us. You do not have to be at goal to be in the newsletter. Send me your pics or give them to me in a meeting. Let's inspire everyone!
