Hi Everyone!jumping in

Whoo-whee, its hot! As I write this it is probably over 90 degrees! It's feelin' like summer!

So what happens to derail you this time of year? Does it start with parties and barbecues? Graduations and vacations? How many times have you said, "I'll take the summer off and come back in September when.......".You fill in the blank.

Is it possible to make this a way of life instead of a science experiment? What if you committed this summer to really having fun with it, instead of making it a chore? I dare you! See you in the meeting room...

5K WALKING CHALLENGE!!

Some of us did the Human Race this past weekend and it was fun and really easy. Totally flat and beautiful.

So now we move on to our next walk. Sonoma Valley Footrace & Festival is happening on June 20th. It is either a 5K or 10K walk or run, with a festival following! It is a benefit for the Sonoma Developmental Center. Are you joining us? You won't regret it!

LIFETIME MEMBERS SUPPORT GROUP

Several at-goal Lifetime members have indicated an interest in forming a support group to deal with the challenges of maintaining their losses, since the meetings generally do not address this topic. I decided to try and create one, which would meet once a month at my beautiful little home-office in Sebastopol. I would ask for $10 for the meeting and it will be for 2 hours on a Tuesday night from 6:30-8:30pm. Please let me know if this is something which would be of interest to you, and if we have enough people (4 or more) we can get it going! Email me a response to this newsletter!

(This is NOT a Weight Watcher meeting, so you will still need to weigh-in monthly to maintain your Lifetime status.)
