MEETING TOPICS: WEEK OF DEC 28
AND JAN 4, 2009
Just like all the year end reviews you see of movies and current events, the end of the year we are doing a review as well. We are looking at what we learned, what were our biggest challenges, etc.
And the beginning of next year we will be exploring the acronym K.I.S.S. What does it mean, and how does it apply to the program?

RECIPES FOR THIS ISSUE
A member asked recently for a bran muffin recipe, and I have a few. I am putting two here. The first one is, in fact, made with all filling (Core, for those of you still following the old plan) foods! How cool is that??
Cinnamon Applesauce Oat Bran Muffin

2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup non fat milk
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Heat oven to 425F degrees. Spray 12 med baking cups with non-stick spray (or use paper liners). Combine dry ingredients and mix well. Mix wet ingredients and slowly mix into the dry ones, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Fill baking cups 3/4 full and bake for 15-17 minutes, or until golden brown.
