Long ago, my dad told me that it took him many years after returning from the bitter battles of World War II to appreciate the enormity of its global impact and to put it in historical perspective. Today, we live in far different historical times. History is now being made by the Internet revolution, which Rupert Murdoch pegged as, "the most fundamental change during my lifetime and for hundreds of years". eCommerce Growing as B2B Online Sales Channel
While most b2b companies are not involved in e-commerce, the channel may offer a significant revenue opportunity for many, according to a new survey by BtoB and Rainmaker Systems. Only about 35% of b2b marketers are involved in some way with selling directly online, according to the survey, but 58% of those companies have an increasing commitment to the channel.
