Greetings!

Changes happen. Seasons change. People change. Situations change.  Often these changes are instantaneous, but sometimes changes take a long time. Sometimes we just want the status quo.  We get used to the way things are, but changes happen, both good and bad.

Over the next few days we are very excited to implement some changes to the WhatFriendsDo website. We think the changes will make a big difference to your WhatFriendsDo team.

Here's what you need to know:

Changes will be implemented Friday night, June 1.

During the upgrade process, the site will be unavailable for a short period of time.

Reset your Password.  For your protection, we have upgraded site security.  The first time you login to the new WhatFriendsDo you will need to change your password.

My Dashboard.  Each time you login you immediately will be taken to "My Dashboard".  This is your own set of tools.  It includes the list of teams you are currently on, your profile, and quick links to ideas for helping your friend in creative and helpful ways.

New Calendar.  You will notice major changes on the team calendars.  You will be able to easily view help tasks on a daily view, weekly view, or monthly view.  The tasks are color coded and viewable by category.  So, if you know you only want to help with Pet Care, you can view only those items.

IMPORTANT - please note you will still be able to view your old Help Schedule.  However you will NOT be able to edit any events already scheduled on the old Help Schedule.

We've also made some "behind the scenes" changes to ensure that your experience on WhatFriendsDo is uplifting.

As always, we welcome your feedback, ideas, and suggestions.  Please reach out if we can help in any way.

We may not be able to change that outcome, but we hope to change the journey.
