INCIID's has received many calls and emails over the last few days about the website. INCIID's site has almost never been down in it's history of hosting since March of 1995... that is until this past week.
Web servers (the machines that provide you with the forums, chats, the interactivity with reproductive endocrinologists and other reproductive specialists as well as networking with your peers) are good for about 3 or 4 years. The INCIID servers are over 5 years old. Last week INCIID experienced a major server failure. We are working around the clock to try and solve the issue temporarily until we can buy a new server -- the cost for a generic server is around $3500.
If you value the work INCIID does, if you appreciate the support and education of patients and the IVF scholarship program along with the interactive access to other patients and physicians who answer your questions, articles on infertility and pregnancy loss etc., we could really use a hand with your tax deductible donation toward a new server. Your sustaining donation will keep INCIID afloat.
We need just 70 people to give us $50 each in order to purchase a new machine. We understand there are those of you who can't give due to circumstances, but if you could find $5, $10 or $25 to help us meet this challenge, there are many patients who would be thankful.
