IECA Says Goodbye to Patrick O'Shea

Always friendly and always smiling, Patrick O'Shea passed away on April 3, 2011. Funeral services are being held today - Tuesday, April 12 in Concord, MI. Patrick was vice president of Natural Environmental Reclamation Concepts, Inc. in Hanover, MI, an IECA and Great Lakes Chapter member since 1984 and a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control. He was a regular at the IECA annual conference, where numerous friends and colleagues looked forward to seeing him each year. This year was particularly special, as Patrick's grandson attended his first conference, where he was the underdog winner of the ever-popular HydRodeo. Patrick's daughter, Denise O'Shea, also an IECA member, can be reached at PO Box 2, 229 W. Allen St., Hanover, MI 49241.

Storm Water Solutions & IECA Partner for the SOIL Fund Awareness Campaign

Watch your e-mail next week for a special message from IECA and SWS on how you can support SOIL in honor of Earth Day!

Storm Water Solutions has partnered with IECA to help raise SWS Logoawareness for IECA's charitable fund, Save Our International Land (SOIL). The SOIL Fund was established in 2008 with the mission to provide a permanent funding source for programs and projects that improve environmental quality through education, research and applied technology. Since its inception, SOIL has been involved in projects from Ecuador to the Easter Islands and collaborated with organizations like Engineers Without Borders.
