 Awards Programs Recognize the Industry's Best Mountain States Chapter Introduces Innovative Project AwardsThe Mountain States Chapter of IECA is seeking nominations for its  2010 Project Awards. Three projects will be selected for presentation at the 2010 MSC Annual Conference in Denver, Colorado at the luncheon on December 8th, 2010. Nominations due November 5. Conference attendees will vote at the conclusion of the presentations to determine the outcome. The project receiving the most votes will receive the "2010 MSC IECA Project Excellence Award" which will be awarded at the social on the evening of December 8th, 2010. Complete details >>. The mission of the IECA Awards Program is to recognize outstanding achievements in the erosion and sediment control industry in eight categories. Doug Holmes Rejoins FEDCO Construction, Inc.Doug Holmes has rejoined FEDCO Construction, Inc., a 100 percent  employee-owned company based in Santa Rosa, CA, as Chief Operations Manager. Holmes has more than 15 years experience in construction management, most recently working as Surface Superintendent for Northbay Construction, Inc. FEDCO General Manager Bill Olmo says, "I am pleased to have Doug back at FEDCO, as he is highly regarded in the building site preparation industry. He is skilled at building and managing large public works projects, and he has excellent communications skills and a reputation for creating strong customer relationships."  International Conference on Scour and Erosion - November 5-7, 2010 in San Francisco, CAIECA member Paul Clopper serves on the conference organizing committee for the International Conference on Scour and Erosion. The event has become a respected event in the technical conference calendar for engineers, scientists, decision makers and administrators providing services in the areas of scour and erosion. This event is the first of several "roadshow" tours where IECA will work with the local Chapter to present quality education from a national, state and local perspective at an affordable price.
