steveStevenson Supply Honored at National Conference
Stevenson Supply was honored by North American Green (NAG) at a national conference held in Kentucky this year. Stevenson Supply entered the "Canal Quarry" project info the North American Green 2009 Distributor Case Study Competition, a restoration project that utilized NAG's erosion control blankets. North Bay Construction worked with Stevenson Supply on the Richmond, California project.

"We worked with the engineer on the project and assisted in getting turf reinforcement mats specified for environmentally-friendly erosion control. The total project called for more than 100,000 square feet of product, and 4,000 square feet of mats replaced a concrete drainage ditch. Using mats in this way eliminated drainage problems and is good for the environment," said Kent Stevenson, vice president of sales for Stevenson Supply.

The "Canal Quarry" project case study is being used nationally by NAG to showcase its products.
